We are HOME OWNERS!

We have been in the works of getting this house for about a month. I have not told that many people because I did not want to jinx us. But just yesterday we conquered the final hurdle, and its a done deal. We close on the 24 of this month, just a week away. I am SOOOOO excited. We looked at alot of houses, some good but not right for us, some soso, and some awful. When we looked at this house I said "thats it, thats the one I HAVE TO HAVE IT". The pictures does not do it justice (trust me) and that front door is the ugliest door I have ever seen, it will be one of the first things that I change. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 baths, fireplace, deck, huge backyard, and a walk-in closet and bathroom in the master bedroom, and there is a whole unfinished basement that we can do what ever we want to. I just love it love it love it. Hope you all can come visit us in our new house some day.

The New TESSA!

Tessa feels like a brand new little girl after today. She got her ears pierced and she had her first ever hair-cut. She was a little scared for both of them, but she was very brave and did really good. We are very proud of her.

Chad and I had the pleasure of going to Las Vegas last week for some much needed "alone time" we had so much fun! My Cousin Annie and her husband Sean meet us up there for a couple of nights, it was very good to see them, we miss them sooooo much. We were able to go to Benihanna's for dinner one night, which is one of my favorite resturants, here are some pictures we took while there.

Tessa misses Charlie terribly, she just does not understand why Charlie does not come to our house everyday anymore. So when ever she gets to spend anytime with her BFF she is a happy little girl.

Over these past 2 weeks Tessa was in swimming lessons, she really enjoyed it. She is a very busy girl this summer, she will be in "school day camp" the second half of July and will be in dance camp at the end of August. Here are some pictures from swimming lessons.

CHAD HAS A NEW JOB!

We are all very excited because Chad was selected to become the new Executive Director (or CEO as his mom likes to say) of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). Although he is sad to leave BBBS he is looking forward to start this new adventure in his career.

A Year of Pictures

1880 Train

On the 2nd day of our sight seeing adventures we decided to board the 1880 train for a very scenic ride through the hills from Hill City to Keystone and back. It was so much fun I highly recommend it, it is a little pricey but worth it.

Tessa has a new friend

While Chad's parents were here for Liam's b-day we decided to do some sight-seeing around the area. The first day we went to the Badlands and Wall drug. While at Wall Drug Tessa wanted to sit next to this "pretty lady" (her words).

Happy Birthday to Liam

We had Liam's 1st birthday party on Saturday. It was alot of fun visiting with friends & family and celebrating our cute little boy turning ONE. As you can see from the picture, Liam had a great time and LOVED his cake.
